Impact

The results have been significant, rewarded with the distinction of one of the most influential and recognized sustainability awards in the sector, "Traveling for Happiness," specifically in the "Regenerative Tourism" category. We have achieved a reduction in emissions, the implementation of a circular economy model, and collaboration with local entrepreneurs, which have provided us with key tools to carry out multiple projects focused on minimizing environmental impact and promoting more sustainable and regenerative tourism.

Transforming the hotel sector: sustainability with real impact

Challenge

Anima Hotels is a hotel group that operates three properties in Catalonia: two five-star boutique hotels in Barcelona, the Hotel Neri and the Hotel Wittmore, and the Hotel Sant Cugat, a four-star hotel located in the town of Sant Cugat, with a high percentage of corporate clients.

Aware of the sector's impact on a hotel group's main asset, the destination, whose success depends greatly on its natural environment and local communities, Anima Hotels aspires to be a pioneer in integrating sustainability into its business model. Its goal is to lay the foundation for positive and regenerative tourism, which not only minimizes negative impacts but also generates a positive impact on its surroundings.

The success of any tourist destination is closely linked to the conservation of its environment and the well-being of local communities. Therefore, Anima Hotels seeks to lead an innovative approach in the industry, aligning its business strategy with principles of sustainability, regeneration, and social responsibility.
